Configuration

Prefixes, disabled commands and where to find each feature's settings.

Where settings live

Element is configured from inside Discord. There is no single settings command. Each feature has its own command group, and the bigger ones open an interactive menu.

Permissions

Setup commands need Administrator or a specific permission such as Manage Messages. Element tells you what is missing.

Prefixes

The default prefix is e!. Admins can add their own:

/set prefix <prefix>
/set prefix-show
/set reset_prefix

Non-premium servers can have up to 3 custom prefixes, each up to 10 characters.

Security

Every security module starts disabled. Run /security dashboard, pick a module and enable it. Set up the Logging module first so you can see what the others do.

Tip

/security whitelist controls who the security system trusts. Check it before you enable modules like Anti Nuke.

Premium

Some features are Premium-only, and some have higher limits with a Premium tier. Use /premium to manage your server's tier.
