Getting Started
Add Element to your Discord server and find your way around.
Inviting Element
Click one of the links below and select your server. You need the Manage Server permission on the server you are adding it to.
- Recommended permissions, the set Element normally needs
- Administrator, so you never have to think about permissions
- No permissions, if you want to hand out permissions yourself with roles and channel overrides
Missing permissions
If you pick the no-permissions invite, features will tell you which permission they are missing the first time you use them.
First Steps
Look around
Run e!help to see the categories. e!help <category> or e!help <command> shows more detail.
Pick your prefix (optional)
The default prefix is e!. Add your own with /set prefix <prefix>. Non-premium servers can have up to 3 custom prefixes.
Turn on security
Run /security dashboard to open the security settings. Every module starts disabled, so enable the ones you want and set up logging first.
Add the community features you need
Set up a welcome message, a ticket panel, a role panel or your first giveaway. The Features Overview lists the command for each.
Web Dashboard
A web dashboard is being built. For now you can sign in with Discord to see the servers you manage and add Element to the ones that do not have it yet. Everything else is configured in Discord.
Next Steps
- Read the Features Overview to see everything Element can do
- Browse the Commands Reference for the main command groups
- Visit Configuration for prefixes and disabling commands
